Porcupine Mines

Located within Treaty 9 territory in Northeastern Ontario, the historic Porcupine district has produced more than 67 million ounces of gold since 1910.

Newmont’s Porcupine operations cover an area of more than 100 square kilometres and include the Hoyle Pond underground mine, Hollinger open pit mine and Dome processing facility in Timmins, as well as the Borden underground mine in Chapleau.
