Local & Indigenous Procurement Plan

Purpose & Objective of Plan

Newmont is committed to creating sustainable prosperity that brings long term social and economic benefits for neighboring communities throughout the life cycle of our mines. This plan establishes how Newmont will identify, assess and integrate procurement opportunities with local and Indigenous businesses into the supply chain process. The goal of this plan is to enable Newmont to meet or exceed the commitments made in its First Nations agreements, and with other relevant community partners. This plan is aligned with the strategic objectives of Newmont’s Canadian Local and Indigenous Procurement Strategy.
